Notice on the right side of the blog (over there --->) that I have installed a gadget that supplies updates from Twitter. Twitter is a free social networking and micro-blogging service that allows its users to send and read each other's updates ("tweets"), which are text-based posts of up to 140 characters only.
So, say you are out and about and don't have access to post an email to this blog but you would like to because something just changed in your plans or something important popped up. If you had a Twitter account, you could shoot a quick text that would post your update on our blog under the "Twitter Updates" section and we could see it.
It's not for everybody, but if you would like to add Twitter to your communications arsenal, go to Twitter.com and sign up for an account. It's quick and you'll be posting via your cellphone in no time.
